Who we are
This site is operated by Appentium LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA, the controller of the personal data described below.
1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N
Albuquerque, NM 87110
United States
Questions about this policy, or about your data, go to info@appentium.com.
What we collect, and why
We only ask for what we need to reply to you and do the work. There is no tracking, no advertising, and no profiling anywhere on this site.
| When you… | We store | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Book a service | Your name, email, phone, company, preferred date and time, budget range, and anything you write in the notes | To confirm the booking and prepare for the call — steps you asked us to take before entering a contract |
| Send an enquiry | Your name, email, phone, company, project type, budget, timeline and your brief | To answer you and quote for the work you asked about |
| Create an account | Your name, email and a one-way hash of your password — never the password itself | To let you sign in and see your bookings, orders and downloads |
| Sign in with Google, GitHub or Apple | The account id that provider gives us, plus the name, email and profile picture on it | To sign you in without another password. We never receive your password, and we ask only for your basic profile and email |
| Request a product | The order reference, amount and status | To fulfil the order and unlock your download once it is paid |
| Leave a review | Your name, email, the rating, the main reason you picked for it and the words you wrote | To publish it once approved — see “Reviews” below |
| Simply browse | A session record holding your IP address and browser user-agent | To keep you signed in and to protect forms against abuse |
We never sell personal data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Payments
Card payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. You type your card details into Stripe, not into this site, so we never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the name and email address you paid with, and handles your payment under its own privacy policy. When we settle an order another way — a payment link we email you, or a bank transfer — that provider handles the payment under theirs.
Reviews
Reviews can only be written by customers whose booking we completed or whose order was paid. Nothing you write appears on the site until we approve it, and we do not edit your words — we either publish a review or we don't. What gets published is the name on your account, your rating, the reason you gave for it and your review. Your email address is never published. Ask us and we will take your review down.
Cookies
This site sets two cookies, both strictly necessary and neither used to track you: a session cookie that remembers you are signed in, and a token that protects forms from cross-site request forgery. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party script on any page — which is why you aren't asked to accept anything.
Who else handles your data
We use a web host to serve this site and an email provider to send booking confirmations and enquiry replies. They process data on our instructions only.
If you sign in with Google, GitHub or Apple, that sign-in happens on their systems under their own privacy policies; we receive only the details listed above.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and bookings are kept for 3 years after our last contact, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Account and order records are kept for as long as your account exists, and afterwards only where we have to for tax and accounting. Session records expire on their own.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Tell us and we will do it — normally within 30 days, and free of charge.
Write to info@appentium.com. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to the admin area is restricted to our own staff accounts. No system is perfect, but we do not keep data we do not need, which is the best protection there is.
Children
This site sells software development services to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people we already hold data for will be emailed to them.
